Día de los Muertos at Montie Beach
Montie Beach Civic Club of Houston, Texas hosted a Día de los Muertos festival in their park in order to raise funds to improve the park so that it can better serve the surrounding community. The client was looking for something friendly, family oriented, with lots of colour. This request was magic to my ears; I loved working on this fun, colourful logo.
Process
First steps are never quite as glamorous or aesthetically pleasing as a final logo but they're a crucial part of the design process. Below are some of my early sketches followed by a few different logo iterations presented to the client.
